Medea: Greek Theatre

Day 6, 18th September

Medea Greek Theatre.

In the morning class we were told to logon to the computers and continue up any blogs we needed to do, or fill out some questions about Greek Theatre. After, a video was put on the projector for us to watch which informed us about Greek Theatre and how it is played etc.

During the end of the day we were with our partners from the previous day and joined up with other partners then we had to use a chosen paragraph from Medea, we then decided how we were going to use our space and who would say what.

 • Familiarising/Group Bonding
Joining up with other partners to form a group was really helpful because it helped us become comfortable around people without feeling uncomfortable due to having our previous partners with us.

We then decided which lines we were going to say and how we were going to present them, we decided to present them as whoever is saying their line steps forward and holds a freeze frame at the end to add a bit of creativity to it, we were then given a group number (4) this was to organise who goes first, so group 1 would go first and so on, when it came to the group before us, they were performing the same section as us so being able to reflect off of theirs and see what they may do better or what we may do better help me personally evaluate quickly how to make it more interesting when I come around to performing it.
